UnaliWear Kanega Watch Limited Lifetime Consumer Warranty
UnaliWear warrants that the UnaliWear Kanega Watch is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for as long as the consumer remains current in his/her ongoing service payments to UnaliWear (“Warranty Period”). If a hardware defect arises and UnaliWear is made aware of such defect, UnaliWear requires troubleshooting with its Customer Success Team to verify any issues. UnaliWear may also require pictures to help identify potential causes of an issue. If UnaliWear determines, in its sole discretion, that the problem is not covered under this warranty, replacement options will be offered.
If the problem is covered under warranty, and a replacement is issued, then the Consumer is required to return the defective watch to UnaliWear within 30 days of receipt of a replacement watch. If Consumer does not return the defective equipment to UnaliWear within 30 days, UnaliWear will charge Consumer up to $650 for a non-returned watch.
UnaliWear does not warrant that the operation of the Kanega Watch will be uninterrupted or error-free. UnaliWear is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the Kanega Watch’s use, including, but not limited to, submerging the Kanega Watch in water and/or changing the batteries in ways different from the instructions provided by UnaliWear. (Instructions are provided in video form on UnaliWear’s web site and in the instruction card included in the Kanega Watch kit box, among other means.)
UnaliWear does not warrant that a Consumer cannot break the watch or related equipment (including batteries). If a Consumer breaks the Kanega Watch or related equipment outside of the Warranty Coverage, UnaliWear’s replacement policy is as follows:
- For intial Kanega Watch service purchases made before May 13, 2024:
- $225 + $50 shipping (covers shipping of replacement watch and return of broken watch to UnaliWear).
- For initial Kanega Watch purchases made on or after May 13, 2024:
- $299 + $25 shipping (covers shipping of replacement watch; UnaliWear will pay for return shipping of broken watch to UnaliWear).
- For Kanega Watch batteries:
- If a Consumer breaks a removable battery, such as breaking of the pins/prongs, pulling the top lid off the removable battery, or other actions outside UnaliWear’s Warranty Coverage, UnaliWear will provide a single free replacement battery within the first 30 days after the initial Kanega Watch kit is shipped from our facility. After this initial 30-day period, battery replacements will be charged at the standard price + shipping & handling in effect at that time.
This Warranty does not apply: (a) to devices used for commercial purposes; (b) to damage caused by use with non-UnaliWear products; (c) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (d) to damage caused by operating the Kanega Watch outside the permitted or intended uses described by UnaliWear; (e) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of UnaliWear; (f) to a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of UnaliWear; (g) to consumable parts (excluding batteries), unless damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (h) to cosmetic damage or defects or damage caused by normal wear and tear, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic; (i) usage or storage in unsuitable physical or operating environments; or (j) if any UnaliWear serial number or labeling has been removed or defaced.
